Description
RTP is a federally-funded matching assistance program for building or improving trails across South Carolina. This is a reimbursable grant program that requires a 20% match. RTP funds are available to state, federal and local government agencies, as well as qualified private organizations.
For on-the-ground, Non-motorized trail projects, $10,000 is the minimum amount of RTP funding that can be requested, and the maximum is $100,000 (for a project with a total cost of at least $125,000).
This is the funding opportunity for Non-motorized/ Diverse Trail Projects with New Construction of trails or trail amenities. If your project does not have new construction, please do not apply in this subcategory. Instead, apply for the Non-motorized/Diverse Trail Projects with Maintenance and Rehabilitation of trails or trail amenities. If your project contains both new construction and maintenance or rehabilitation, you may apply in either category. If your project is for a Motorized trail or trail amenities supporting a Motorized trail, please apply for the RTP Motorized Trail funding opportunity.
